The buzz among the computer industry in the Philippines nowadays is -
Linux. And thanks to Microsoft for that. What the
?!?!?!?! Thanks to Microsoft??? How???
Well, they’ve been raiding establishments that use pirated Microsoft
software and the outcome has only been one of two – those who can
afford to maintain Microsoft software opted to buy licenses for their
PCs and those who are not that rich or perhaps those who can afford but
are not willing to pay thousands of pesos for Microsoft licenses
switched to Linux. And more of them are using Linux!!!
So my heartfelt thanks to Microsoft for doing this crackdown… more
and more people are getting to know Linux and are using them as
well!!! Keep up the good work!.
